Hosting a Magical Princess-Inspired 5th Birthday Party

Planning a birthday party for your little princess's 5th birthday? Transform her special day into a magical and enchanting celebration fit for royalty with these princess-inspired party ideas. From decorations to activities and delicious treats, here's your guide to hosting the perfect princess-themed birthday party.

1. Invitations:

Set the tone for the party by sending out enchanting invitations that reflect the princess theme. Opt for invitations featuring tiaras, castles, or magical wands to let guests know they're in for a royal treat.

2. Decorations:

We worked with an amazing party planner that we found on instagram. @Marissascreations. She handled everything from room and table decor to favor boxes.

3. Dress Code:

Encourage guests to dress as their favorite princess or prince to add to the magical atmosphere. Provide tiaras, crowns, and capes as party favors so that every guest can feel like royalty.

For Dylan’s costume, we ordered two dresses from, Anna Shopping List, an amazing ETSY vendor (no longer selling on ETSY), and had them altered at a local dry cleaner.

4. Princess Activities:

We wanted the kids to have activities throughout the event. To manage the space effectively, we designated specific areas for the activities to prevent large groups of people from staying in one spot for too long. Guests enjoyed personalized caricature drawings, intricate balloon creations by a talented artist, and a white bouncy castle tucked away in a corner for the kids to have fun and stay active. In addition, there was a cotton candy vendor offering custom flavors with edible sprinkles, while a licensed bartender served ice-cold canned wine for the adults and juice boxes for the children.

The highlight for Dylan was the appearance of her favorite Disney Princess. We booked the actress for an hr, she sang and danced and led the party with the birthday song.

5. Royal Treats:

If you live in a town with a Publix, save yourself time and money and let them cater the whole event. We ordered a custom cake, cupcakes, and food from them. The order included delivery and setup. They always arrive early, set up, and leave without any issues. Don’t let fear stop you from saving money; you’ll thank me later!

6. Party Favors:

We needed favors that were fit for boys and girls. Our party planner created beautiful boxes that we filled with crayons, stickers, sweets and custom cookies.

Remember, the key to a successful princess-inspired birthday party is to create a magical and memorable experience for the birthday princess and her guests. With the right decorations, activities, and treats, you can make her 5th birthday a fairytale come true.

Let the enchantment begin and make sure to capture the joy and excitement of the day with plenty of photographs and memories that will last a lifetime.

Happy party planning!

Sincerely, Mrs. Lilly
